Celebrating 40 Years

1970-2010

The Prince William Republican Women’s Club was the first Republican Women’s club in the County. It was founded in 1970 to educate, inform, and motivate women to become political activists. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting an informed public through political education and activity; increasing the effectiveness of women in the cause of good goverence; encouraging women to become involved in the election process and electing Republican candidates; and promoting freedom, equality, and justice, the principles on which this country was founded.

We strengthen the Republican Party by advocating the Party’s philosophy and supporting its initiatives through empowering women of all ages and background in the political process. The Club is affiliated with the Virginia Federation of Republican Women (VFRW) charted in 1953 vfrw.org, and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) founded in 1938 nfrw.org and interacts with the Prince William County Republican Party (PWCGOP) pwcgop.org, the Republican Party of Virginia www.rpv.org, and the Young Republicans of Greater Prince William County.
